NLSchools is an entity of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador tasked with the education of all English speaking students and K to 12 public schools in the province.

As of January 1, 2024, NLSchools includes:

• Over 63,000 students;
• Over 250 schools, including five alternate sites; and
• Over 10,000 employees.

NLSchools is managed by a Superintendent of Schools (Assistant Deputy Minister equivalent) and supported by:

• Senior Management Official of Human Resources;
• Senior Management Official of School Systems

There are four NLSchools regional offices, located in:

• Happy Valley-Goose Bay (Labrador Office);
• Corner Brook (Western Office);
• Gander (Central Office); and
• and St. John's (Avalon Office/ Headquarters)
