Discovery Collegiate Raises $2,500 for Fort McMurray Fire Relief Fund

Staff and students of Discovery Collegiate, in Bonavista, held a week-long fundraiser in mid-May, with all proceeds going to the Red Cross's Fort McMurray Fire Relief Fund. Students and staff participated in ice cream, baked goods and hot dog sales, as well as themed days. The school had a goal to raise $1,500, but by Friday afternoon, they surpassed the goal and collected $2,500.
