As part of continued efforts to ensure Newfoundland and Labrador students are informed and aware of the many sacrifices made by the Royal Newfoundland Regiment and the Battle of Beaumont-Hamel, the Provincial Historic Sites Association has announced 19 students who will be travelling to Europe this summer in honour of this hisotirc anniversary. The students, who each completed a Heritage Fair project focused on some aspect of the First World War, will be leaving June 27, 2016 for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
