The 2015-16 school year has been very successful for the athletes of Tricentia Academy in Arnold's Cove.

The Tricentia Timberwolves had significant success at the regional level and competed at many provincial tournaments. Specifically, the Timberwolves captured the regional banner in both boys and girls softball, boys and girls volleyball, boys and girls ball hockey, and boys basketball.

As a result of their strong showing, School Sport NL (SSNL) recognized Tricentia Academy by awarding them a 'Gold Star' award. Schools throughout the province earn points towards the achievement of gold star status through participation, achievement, and sportsmanship during SSNL sanctioned events. With pride, the students involved have signed their names to the Gold Star banner, as it now hangs in the school gymnasium and will remain for years to come as a symbol of an excellent school sport experience.
