At a meeting held Wednesday, August 10th in St. John's, the Board of Trustees of the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District tabled a notice of motion regarding Whitbourne Elementary. The notice of motion may result in the closure of Whitbourne Elementary in June 2017, with students rezoned to attend Woodland Elementary September 2017.
