The Holy Heart Highlanders team work together to ensure everyone is included
Many times, team sporting events not only offer students the opportunity to develop physical skills and abilities, but can offer an opportunity for team members to develop emotional and more personal skills and abilities as well. Recently, during a basketball game between the Holy Trinity Tigers and the Holy Heart of Mary Highlanders, players, coaches and the community were a shining example of that fact. In early December, CBC News profiled the story of Keegan Sinnott, a 16 year old student who has been dealt some tough blows in his young life, but he continues to aim to be involved and to strive daily for his personal best... and he has a circle of support to help him achieve his goals.
