The Marine Instutute, School of Ocean Technology is encouraging educators and schools to consider participation in remotely operated vehicles (ROV) program to teach science, technology, engineering and math, as well as help prepare students for technical careers.

The 2017 competition manuals have arrived and the 2017 MATE international ROV competition is scheduled to take place June 2017 at Long Beach City College in Long Beach California, USA.
