Waterford Valley High kicked off Mental Health Awareness Week with a dramatic production dubbed 'Not Myself Today'. The show, which saw musical and theatrical performances from a number of students, helped to highlight the challenges facing young people today, as well as the resources available and assistance needed.

Students performed for faculty and special guest during the day and are also offering an evening performance at the school Monday, May 1st, at 7:30 pm. Performances are free, but any monies collected are being directed to the Newfoundland and Labrador chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association.
