A choral group at Crescent Collegiate is evaluating which competitions it will enter in the coming months, after recently impressing the adjudicators at the WorldStrides OnStage competition in Orlando, Florida. Music director Sarah McDonald and her choir participated in the compeition in late April, walking away with a Gold Standard Award and second place honours in the Women's Choir category, while student Mackensie Smith received a Special Ovation Award for her solo efforts with the group. Their success has earned the choir invites to further competitions.
