The Newfoundland and Labrador English School District is advising administrators and educators that the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why should not be used as a curriculum resource in the province's schools.
Acting Associate Director of Education (Programs and Operations) Lucy Warren recently spoke with CBC to outline the District's approach to the series and how discussions on the topic of suicide should be undertaken using appropriate resources and guidance.
