The District is always pleased when our staff members throughout the province are honoured with special recognition for their efforts. Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador highlights deserving alumni each month by showcasing their achievements and providing some further details on what makes the individual unique and inspiring. For September, 2017, that alumnus is Carbonear Collegiate's Edward Jarvis, who marks his 27th year teaching this year.
