CEO/Director of Education of the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District, Tony Stack, is bringing together a group of leaders from throughout the province to provide insight and advice on a host of topics experienced in Newfoundland and Labrador schools. The Director’s Principals Advisory Group (DPAG) will serve a number of purposes, including to:

• provide a forum for gathering information and discussion regarding the development, implementation and impact of District policies and programs;
• share effective practices on managing challenges and encouraging successes of students and staff;
• provide advice on professional learning for Administrators;
• provide an avenue for Principals to highlight concerns or questions to the District Executive; and,
• gather members’ insights, feedback and advice on District initiatives that affect school communities and its members, while focusing on the individual experiences and perspectives of principals.

The DPAG will hold its inaugural meeting in late March and the members selected will serve a two-year term in the Group. The District congratulates the principals who have been named to the first-ever DPAG and look forward to hearing the outcomes of such a dedicated and diverse collection of professionals.
