Twenty-seven graduates from schools throughout the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District have been named the winners of the 2018-19 Scholarship Program. The initiative is an annual effort of the Newfoundland and Labrador Education Foundation on behalf of the District's Board of Trustees. Each student will receive a $1,000 scholarship to put towards university, public or private college or accredited trades college studies. The scholarships were awarded based upon academic success, demonstrated leadership, and involvement with the school community.
