Trustees gather for their public meeting on February 1
The Newfoundland and Labrador English School Board held its regular public meeting today (Saturday, February 1) in St. John’s, where trustees discussed a number of issues and made decisions relative to the business of the Board.
The Board of Trustees gave notice that a motion to reconfigure Sacred Heart Academy in Marystown to Grades K-4 and Donald C. Jamieson Academy in Burin to Grades 5-7 will no longer be put forward for a vote at the March 28, 2020 public meeting of the Board. Both schools currently serve Grades K-7 and, with the Board’s decision today, those schools will remain status quo.
