The Newfoundland and Labrador English School District (NLESD) is taking action to limit large gatherings in schools and the potential community spread of the COVID-19 virus. 

“The purpose of these measures is to protect the health and safety of our students, employees, and school communities,” said Tony Stack, CEO/Director of Education. “Ultimately, we are cancelling all remaining international student travel scheduled up until April 30, 2020, and suspending discretionary activity which would result in non-essential access to schools by outside groups.”
