The Provincial Government continues to take action to modernize and improve the educational experience of students in the K-12 public education system.

Today, the Honourable Krista Lynn Howell, Minister of Education, is announcing additional work underway to support the transformation and modernization of the K-12 school system, including:

Transforming Grades 7-9 Curriculum
In September 2025, the Department of Education will introduce a new intermediate curriculum for Grades 7-9 which will give students more choice in the types of courses they choose to complete.{....}
