The Honourable Krista Lynn Howell, Minister of Education, today announced more than $275,000 in scholarships for recent high school graduates as part of the Provincial Scholarship Program. The program recognizes high school graduates throughout Newfoundland and Labrador for their hard work, dedication, and academic achievements.

A total of 276 high school graduates are recipients of various scholarships, each awarded based on academic performance. Scholarships include:

• One Junior Jubilee Scholarship
• One Constable W.C. Moss Scholarship
• 120 Electoral District Scholarships
• 79 Centenary of Responsible Government Scholarships
• 75 Confederation 75th Anniversary Scholarships
