The Hospital School has classrooms located in three different healthcare facilities in the province:
- Janeway Children's Health and Rehabilitation Centre, St. John's
- Tuckamore Centre, Paradise
- Hope Valley Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor
As a school within the NLESD we provide academic education and services to youth who are admitted to these healthcare settings. During periods of hospitalization, rehabilitation, and treatment, our purpose is to maintain academic programming as much as possible, depending on the medical status of the youth. Referral to each of our sites is the responsibility of regional health authorities. Upon admission, Hospital School personnel will implement appropriate academic programming, in consultation with the home school, that supports the students' medical interdisciplinary care plan (ICP).
