Gander Collegiate School System
As the result of the construction of new Grades 4-6 school in Gander, Gander Academy will become a Grades K-3 school which will feed the new school. Students will continue to proceed to St. Paul's Intermediate School and then Gander Collegiate.

Motions Passed
The following motions were passed by the Board of Trustees on April 4, 2017: WHEREAS the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District is committed to providing the best possible educational programs for students; and WHEREAS a new Grade 4 to 6 school is scheduled to be completed in Gander in Zone 9 during the 2017-2018 school year and reorganization of schooling is required to achieve that objective, BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that: Gander Academy will be reconfigured from a Kindergarten to Grade 6 school to a Kindergarten to Grade 3 school effective September 2017. BE IT THEREFORE FURTHER RESOLVED that: That Grades 4 to 6 formerly assigned to Gander Academy be assigned to the New Grade 4 to 6 school in Gander. |
